The Four Promises

The Four Promises

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing that by the power of the Holy Spirit you will abound in hope and overflow with confidence in His promises.”
Romans 15.13

This part of our walk is nearly over so let’s finish with four great promises that are packed into our rucksacks as part of our survival kit.
Four guarantees that are there to lift your hearts and let you flourish in hope and overflow with confidence.

Promise 1
He is the one who is in control
(Proverbs 19.1)

Promise 2
He knows you better than you know yourself
(Psalm 139.1-3)

Promise 3
He has plans for your peace and well-being.
(Jeremiah 29.11)

Promise 4
(God) is able to do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us.
(Ephesians 3:20)

These promises are for you to walk the path with a confident expectation that whatever circumstance surrounds you God promises he not only has his hand on the pulse, but is waiting to give you something better than you can ever imagine.
